T2 WELDING's maintenance center is the ideal place to do routine maintenance on your butt welding machine.
Do you have an old welder or one that needs to be refurbished? Book maintenance to your T2 Welding machine even if it has a few scrapes or a lot of welding behind it!
We pride ourselves on manufacturing sturdy and durable butt welding machines.
That's why, even if your welder is a little old and in bad shape, we will do our best to overhaul it and make it fully functional.
Our technicians will make an assessment to figure out with you the convenience of repair in case the welder is very worn or not serviceable.
Servicing: some useful info
SERVICING ACCORDING TO REGULATIONS - PT SERIES TRENCH WELDING MACHINES
The UNI ISO 12176-1:2018 standard recommends maintenance at the manufacturer or authorized center at least once a year.
The frequency of maintenance you have to evaluate yourself according to the state of wear and tear of the butt welder and according to what your principals require.
It is a good habit to check the pressure seal, general condition and temperature of the heating mirror each time it is used, for more details you can refer to the maintenance table in the user's manual.
Why is it important to perform the service?
Overhaul of the entire machine (consisting of the basic body, facing tool, heating mirror, and control unit) is also always recommended once a year by our technicians because:
-having a welding machine in excellent condition ensures reliable welding;
-the welder is inspected and tested by qualified personnel who can identify any anomalies due to use on the job site (small pressure leaks, problems with the sliding of the base body cylinders, etc.);
- constant maintenance allows timely intervention only on worn parts, avoiding more serious and costly problems;
- many contractors require the use of equipment with recent maintenance.
If you would like to send us your PT welder for an overhaul, remember that the machine must arrive at our headquarters at 22/1 Bacchiglione Street in Cervarese Santa Croce complete with basic machine, heating mirror, facing tool and hydraulic power unit. Reductions are not necessary.
Pack everything properly and send it by courier. If you do not subscribe to any courier, call us! We will arrange for pickup.
